Let’s talk about what REALLY happened today @ @BOSCityCouncil meeting. @CllrKendraLara brought a posse to cheer on @RicardoNArroyo. They were loud & talked shit throughout the whole meeting, especially while Frank Baker was speaking. Anytime we spoke, we were told to leave. 🧵
When I pointed this out, @Tania4D7 said it was both sides, and @juliaforboston egged them on to keep talking shit.
The same woman who assaulted Shawn Nelson in the hall also came at me, but was blocked by an officer.
This woman claims Shawn & I “ain’t even from here”…ummm…we’re both from Dorchester & still reside in Dorchester…but go off 💁🏼♀️

Shawn Nelson was hit by Dawne Young (https://twitter.com/DawneFreeher) to instigate a fight after verbal back and forth in the City Council chambers.
As a result of an ensuing brawl with multiple friends of Dawne attacking Shawn, HE was arrested while the ex-cons squad & friends were escorted to a comfortable office to cool off. City Councilors Kendra Lara and Ricardo Arroyo later headed to the office where these women were situated, probably to be personally thanked by Arroyo & Lara for their great performance in the City Council chambers.
