Commentary from MA-based IntActivist Cynthia Maloney
By Cynthia Maloney:
Last night I was the special guest on a prerecorded podcast that will air Monday, June 2, 2025 on Badlands Media. It is a weekly podcast called Alphas Make Sandwiches and is hosted by Ashe in America. Ashe and I met at GART, Badlands Media’s Great American Restoration Tour, in Plymouth Massachusetts in early May.
We had a brief conversation where I introduced myself as an intactivist. She had never heard this word before so I explained that an intactivist is someone who speaks out for the rights of the child to keep his or her body intact, including and particularly all parts of the genitals. Here in America the vast majority of victims of genital mutilation are baby boys and the men they become. Yes, I speak out against circumcision. Ashe immediately invited me on her the show and we exchanged phone numbers.
Here is the link to the show:
Last night as we spoke I was able to tell them a little bit of how I became an intactivist, what inspired me to do this work and why I feel so passionately that this brutal and unnecessary assault on our boys must end. I was also able to answer their questions on religion, the functions of the foreskin and the marketing and profit behind the perpetuation of this horrific practice.
The first question out of the gate was, of course, about religion. And not the one you are thinking of, this was a Christian question. Ashe said that it was in the Bible and referred to the Covenant. I brought up that there are multiple passages in the New Testament denouncing the practice. I told her what my mother told me when I was just 11 years old, “Jesus came to end our suffering and that includes circumcision”. She also told me “Jesus was the last blood sacrifice” and that Jewish people do it, but Catholics and those of Christian faiths do not.
I shared this link with the show hosts: https://www.CutTheFilm.com
This film was made by a Jewish man named Eli Ungar Sargon and he goes into a deep dive on why it is an unnecessary practice. He digs into the words of the Old Testament and scrutinizes the Covenant word by word. I learned a about Jewish traditions and practices by watching this film, and you will too. I highly encourage you to take the time to view it. Also on this website you will find a series of podcasts called The Cut Podcast. This resource is absolutely invaluable to anyone looking to learn more about circumcision.
I then began to relay my own journey into going down this rabbit hole. I told them how I had kept my son whole and always knew it was a messed up thing to do to a child. I was working as a doula and discouraging people from doing it, when around 2006 two couples asked me questions I didn’t know the answer to.
The first question was “What are the functions of the foreskin?”
I didn’t have an answer for them but I told them I would do some research and get back to them. That is how I found Intact America. https://IntactAmerica.org
I found a link to a free package with everything you ever needed to know about the foreskin. Did you know it not only provides protection and motility, but it is also loaded with fine touch nerve endings? It truly is an amazing structure with so many benefits. When you remove the foreskin it changes your penis from a piston to a dowel and your orgasm from an accelerator to an on/off switch. It is a healthy and functional body part and no one should be removing it from a child who cannot consent, resist or escape.
The second question that I was asked was “What about the studies coming out of Africa and how it prevents Aids?”
Now I had worked for 11 years as a scientist before becoming a doula and I had only been out of the field for less that two years at that time and I had never heard of such nonsense. I immediately thought to myself, ‘viruses replicate inside the cells and there is no way removing a healthy body part can prevent such a thing. There is so many things I learned since then, but I will leave that there and get onto what I learned about the studies in Africa.
I learned that the numbers were using the relative risk and not the absolute risk. I learned the men who agreed to get circumcised were offered a host of things, such as condoms, safe sex information, regular checkups and the intact group were offered none of these things. I learned the vast majority of intact men in the study fell off and were never seen again. I learned the study was cut short with insufficient numbers to determine anything.
To hear more details of this botched study this presentation by John Geisheker gets deep into details:
In later years I learned of the horrors of this African campaign, PEPFAR initiated by Hilary Clinton and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Brendon Marotta explains some of the fallout from this debacle in this video:

We then spoke about the profit from the procedure and the how much money is made from the fallout and from the foreskin itself. This is a very lucrative profit margin that includes the sale of the foreskin for everything from burn victims to baldness to beauty creams. Not to mention curing “diseases” that wouldn’t happen without the injury like meatal stenosis and Peyronies disease.
We also spoke, rather graphically about how circumcision forever changes how we have sex, and how this effects women and couples in the bedroom.
Finally I also was able to share with them a bit about the protest group that I most resonate with, The Bloodstained Men: https://www.BloodStainedMen.com
I have been with the Bloodstained Men since it’s inception in 2012. I have hosted the tours and traveled across the country to raise awareness about the harms of circumcision and the benefits of the intact penis. I was the first women ever to tour with them and suit up in the iconic protest attire, all white with a bloodstain on the crotch, back in 2016. In the past year I have toured with them twice, last September to Orlando to protest the American Academy of Pediatrics for their harmful stance on male genital mutilation, and in February I attended a weeklong protest in Louisiana, ending in New Orleans to greet the Super Bowl crowds.
I am going to end this article here now, but maybe in the future I will write about my travels and what that experience is like. I hope you learned something new today and I hope you catch me on Alphas Make Sandwiches!
Finally here are a couple pictures from my last two events
