Hilda spoke at the last School Committee meeting on April 1, 2025 (video below) and received 317 votes as a write-in candidate for the Burlington school committee election last weekend.

Hilda writes on her FB page on April 8-9, 2025: “

“My First Amendment Right has clearly been violated. Forward to 2:14:15 to see how the Burlington School Committee silenced me and threatened to have me arrested for exercising my right to free speech.”

(Update 1) “BCAT has deleted the video from their (FB) page, demonstrating their awareness of their illegal actions against me and their impending consequences. This behavior is utterly reprehensible. I will continue to persist in demanding justice for their actions against our children. I kindly ask you ALL to call BCAT and demand they put the last School Committee meeting back up on the page! Before they deleted it, it already had 8.5k views! Please reach out to them however you can!”

(Update 2) “In response to the numerous calls and messages sent to BCAT this morning, they have posted the video of last night's meeting on their YouTube channel, but not their Facebook page. This decision raises several questions. Last night, the video garnered over 8.5k views and BCAT claimed it was hacked, requiring its removal and editing.

Regardless, I am providing the link once more and I encourage you to view the video again to observe the injustice of denying me my First Amendment rights at 1:14:00. Thank you for your ongoing support.”
